Left me, in yesterday.
I feel like a stupid cheena nerd.
Been studying for stupid o'level chinese (which is in two weeks time oh no) the entire day when instead I could have been out enjoying this perfectly beautiful tuesday. This is probably the first ever school holiday (excluding the march, june, nov and dec ones) I've spent at home.
The only consolation perhaps is that I had a good 10 and a half hours of sleep last night, coupled with another 1 hour at 3 today when I got sick of memorising crap words and fell soundly asleep on my bed. I love sleeping.
Oh and instead of going out, since technically tomorrow is the start of the holidays, we'll be going to school for extended studies. Like whaaaaaaaat. This is so, so sad.
I am also getting really sick of ris low. I swear if I ever hear a BOOMZ out of nowhere again I am going to yell at that person's face. It is all getting incredibly annoying. Don't get me wrong, but it was pretty funny last time. But now that she's become old news, why do we still continue to linger in this whole fad? Why are we still indulging in her mediocre sub-standard english? I can't believe I even used BOOMZ in one of my fb statuses once (back in the heyday when ris low was in the limelight). Urgh. Everyone's using BOOMZ in everything! Even in sentences that don't make any complete sense. Everyone's squeezing BOOMZ in everything, using the word in such contrived situations. I think a week ago Yiting told me her brother's friend (was it?) that used the word BOOMZ in a seriously nonsensical way and I burst out laughing there and then. On msn, he typed, HI BOOMZ.
?!???
Further more, I cannot comprehend why people love using FML. No offense to anyone. I mean, it's none of my darn business to dictate who is to use what phrase/word but it just set me thinking. (I love to think) Everyone's using it so often, do they really think their life is that bad? Or does using it just give them more excuse to wallow in self-contained pity, that their life undoubtedly sucks? Maybe it's just this teen adolescent thing I don't get, but honestly how about other people out there in the world suffering? They deserve to say all the fmls they want. I feel indignant, maybe I'm just being a prude. Oh well.
By the way, big super thank you to amanda, because thanks to her I got a job for two days packaging beauty products into goodie bags. The highlight- I'm gonna get paid 6 bucks an hour. Now I can get extra funding for various people's birthday presents.
